The Copper queens are in Ivory Coast to continue their preparations for the tournament and acclimatize to the weather conditions.
“I think the girls have acclimatised to the West African weather and this afternoon they showed that in the game we played,” he said.
” We have been working mostly on tactical but the first two sessions were about conditioning,” he added.
Mwape revealed three of his players had picked up knocks but are likely to recover within just two days.
“Everything is going on well. We have not had an y injuries until today. Catherine, Martha Tembo and Anita Mulenga. They are have small knocks and they will recover in two days time,” he said.
The copper queens will be aiming to finish among the top three in Ghana as that will automatically book them a place at the 2019 France Women World Cup.
